Is MAAST incorporated?

If so, can we get c copy of the incorporation papers posted on the website (like the By-lwas are)?

Is MAAST listed as a not-for-profit organization with the IRS?

So, are we incorporated?

Articles of Incorporation pursuant to Article 3.02 Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act were filed in March of 2003 under the guidance of our membership (with no Board). The incorporators listed were myself, Misti Thueson & Joshua Knutson.

I, Christopher Pugh am listed as the initial registered agent along with my home address as the registered office; therefore most documentation requesting an executor has my name listed, with a possible exception to any paperwork filed with the IRS which was handled by Misti Thueson.

The business and affairs of the Corporation are to be conducted by the Board of Directors as is listed in our Articles of Incorporation. Said Directors are granted authority and power over all matters of this organization; therefore MAAST is not owned by a single person or persons, nor does a single person have right to monetary or other financial gain whether serving as Director, officer, representative, agent or member of the Corporation.

These filings were listed as an initial requirement on the road to receiving exemption status by means of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. I have this paperwork available to me, it can be placed online but I will need the assistance of someone who owns a scanner. I can also bring it to the next meeting if requested.
