I have a large palythoa with many pollyps on it...I'm concerned because
some of them don't have room to open up.I was wondering how to frag it
so i could give it more room to bloom.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Anita

Grab a screwdriver and split the rock or just set one next to it and they will jump.

Scissors, razor, chisel, just about anything. Are you really sure you want those to take off? They can become problematic.

If they do kalk takes care of them.

But if you kill them they release a toxin that is really hard on your other corals......Especially caps!

I had some of those in my last aquarium and they did start taking over several adjacent rocks. Other corals didn't really like being to close to them either.
