I just spilled some water on the wall right above one of my electric outlets. Other then cutting the breaker what should I do? I have also taken the face plate off of it to help it dry out some. I guess it is a good sign that the breaker didnt trip.

If it is on a GFCI and didn't trip, then I doubt any water actually got into the outlet. Let it air out & dry and you should be fine.

If what you spilled was salt water, and any made its way onto the metal, it will probably rust over time. Might be best to replace the receptacle if that's the case?
