Nice tank! It is amazing how many corals we can fit into our tanks, lol. Keep up the good work!

Joshua, that's probably a montipora but definately not a cap. I forget the correct name though. Those look sweet under 20KK's :P
Nice looking tank! :)

in a strange twist of fate I was just talking to alex about a M. Confusa... I've found several pictures and they all look different but since I see yours looks like it may be begining to branch I though it could be a match

Your aquarium is as beautiful as mine is ugly. Gary will be stopping by today or tomorrow to see mine, let him tell you the horror story.

Joshua, I have the Vernon series (Indo-Pacific/Australian Edition & the 3 volume set). I will be more than happy to bring it to the meet and let you look through them. I will be helping Wendy and Chris set up their new tank tonight so I won't get a chance to look them up myself until Friday evening. I can post my findings then if you are interested.

Josh, I have the same colony. I have the correct ID somewhere, but I think its a verrucosa. Platelike with small nodules.

That's so sad, Joshua. Folks, I think we need to take up a collection or something so that Joshua can buy some corals for his tank, poor thing.
JK, Great tank!

Pete, you'll like it even more when you see the new rock aquascape. It's pretty nice for a 4 AM job. :blink I put all the zoanthids in the middle and will soon have a 15kk XM lighting up the middle under the center brace. That'll give me more space in the primo areas on the sides for the SPS and I'll quit burning the zoanthids with too much light.
What the heck were you doing up at 4am? :huh

Looks nice Josh. I keep thinking of going barebottom or at least catching my **** watchman goby pair.
I do have that series of books but someone already offered to bring it so I'll let him. FYI , unless you are willing to break off a piece of coral, dunk it in acid and then have access to a good scanning microscope anything but the most general id on acros is very hard.
Do you still ahve the copperband I traded you?

Nice tank. How's the BB going?
I'm about to go this route on my new-used tank. I'd love to come see how you set your up.

My guesses......A. Rosaria on the pinkish one.
M. sp on the first one. ;)
I have a M. M.Hispida and it seems to be more encrusing. There are a freaking million monti's out there that plate and column. Undata can some times like the Idaho Grape. The M's I seen with the coloring yours has are M. spumosa, confusa, Hoffsmeri (sp?). Forgive the spellings as I SUCK AT SPELLING.
