I went to Alamo today to window shop. I was surprised to see tonga branch LR in their live rock tub. It is $7.99 a pound and they had what looked like about 100-150 pounds of it. The pieces were anywhere from 10" to about 14". There was no coraline growth on the rocks from what I could see. The only reason I post this is because I have NEVER seen tonga offered locally, only through website sources. So anybody looking for tonga knows were to find it (for the time being, anyway).
On a side note it has been quite some time since I took a trip out to Alamo and I must say that it is much more organized and cleaner than before. Kudos to Alamo for the much needed maintence.
Unfortunately, I did not buy anything there so yall can scold me if you want to. However, they did have an awsome torch that I would have picked up if I had the money. :( The torch was about 4-5 inches across, it looked good, and it was nice and full.
