What happened to the option that allowed you to delete your own post? In the cases where I accidently double post, I always go back and delete my duplicate post. There has also been ocassions where I have decided to remove a post because I misread someone else's post and then realized the mistake after I made my post. I then went back in and removed my post.

If this was done on purpose (removing this option), why was this done? :unsure

If you double post you can still edit it and erase everything on the post and write in "This post has been intentionally left blank" kind of like the military does with blank pages in a classified book hehehe.

You can delete your post by going to "edit", checkmark "delete post", then hit "submit...

Jim,

The only "options" I can see on the EDIT post are the following:

Disable BBCode in this post
Disable Smiles in this port
Attach Signature
Notify me when a reply is posted

I don't see where you can checkmark a box saying "delete post". Where is that?

hhmmmm, It should be there, unless it was disabled with the new graphics, Im still using the old format. Ok, I think the option to delete has a time limit. I have the option to delete this post now, but not my previous post. Check a current post to see if the option is there for you. Now Im curious...

The Delete checkbox goes away if there's a post after yours. You can only delete your post if it's the last post on the thread.

EDIT: Just double checked. Yep it's there and this is the last post on the thread.

edit #2: After posting my last last post, my first last post (this one) no longer has the Delete checkbox.

Second test. This is the last post after my last last post. Got that? :D Hmm... I guess that would make this post my next last post. :w00t :shades :w00t

Maan, you are making me dizzy.

Okay, I think I got it. You can delete your own post as long as no one has posted after you, including yourself.
