Here are some pics of my system I've been working on since december. I'm a college student and I work full time so it's been kinda hard to really get everything done. Everything is DIY except the actual glass tank. I have made everything. The Calcium Reactor, Nielson Reactor, Sump/Fuge, Stand/Canopy. I'll be upgrading the skimmer to a Reef One Freedom Series beckett once I get my system up. I also am going to run a small saltwater business out of my garage. Mostly coral sales and probably inverts. Of course, also custom acrylic work. So, be on the lookout for Reef One pretty soon. Here are some pics.
Standard 90 gallon w/ my Stand/Canopy stained Red Mahogany. Made the overflow box and installed a spray bar and also plumbed a scwd inside that comes out through two 3/4" Loc-Lines w/ nozzles.

The hood will be taken next week to get powder coated. The actual hood will be concealed by the Canopy.

The Hood is 48"x15"x7.5" and will house 1x250SE,1x250DE,1x400SE,4x48" VHO Super R's

Here is the 1st ReefOne Freedom Series Nielson Reactor (still have to plumb in the mixing pump)

Here is the 1st ReefOne Calcium Reactor w/ Spray Bar and Panworld

Here is the sump/fuge I made. (29.5"x15.5"x18")

Here is the drip tube/pH probe/float switch holder

Here is the spray bar for the fuge

Here on the right you can see the live rock bubble tower. Water will flow from the drain and the skimmer return. It will be filled with Live Rock so that water flows down and comes out through the bottom 1/2" holes drilled all the way around.

Yes I need to know about the powder coating also. I could really use to do something like you have done. My rack is 8ft long made of stainless steel. However I am getting some rust from it. Hope you dont mind me asking.
Your work looks very nice, I have seen other DIY stuff with no where near the quality. With everything nice, patience is key.

Thanks for all the comments guys!
Joshua:
The powder coating only cost me 65. I told him that I would be taking him more and he told me he would give me a discount as I take them.
Robert:
Yea...Powder Coating is the way to go. He had alot of awesome colors and finishes too.

Here is the hood with all the VHO done. Waiting now for the brackets to come in for the halides. Overall i'm pleased, i think it came out really awesome.

Here is what i've been working on also. My old 40 gallon which is now my temp/growout tank. Right now I have over 40 different SPS frags and small colonies. I also have about 10-15 different softies. Including a frag of PPE's!

Here is the 90 gallon running, contemplating on whether or not i'm gonna order some tonga or marshall live rock and trade out half so that I can get some real coralline growth. I think my RO/DI unit is bad or something though b/c my tds is now 10-12 as opposed to its 0 that I would get in the beginning. I think that this is causing phosphates which are causing a cyano out break in my fuge.

Once I get my Table Saw in i'm going to build a big table so that I can have a totally flat surface large enough for any size tank. That's my only problem, i used my pool table for this one, of course covered, but that was the only table i had that was flat and big enough. Once I have a big workbench it's going to be alot easier assembling tanks. Plus it would make it easier to get bubble free joints.

This bad boy is built like a tank! The fence is rock solid and a awesome biesemeyer clone. I've worked with the biesemeyer fence plenty and I have to say that is is built just as tuff. So far everything was built straight as a nail. There were not any warps or bent rails or anything. The fence measures to be dead on! I'll know for sure when I fire it up. I'm currently waiting for a 220v to be installed. Cant wait.

This bad boy is built pretty solid. Not the best but for the money it's a good deal. Works good so far. Only time will tell.

Hey Reefone, can you repost the pics, they did not come out. I think you already went over your limit. You are going to have to go back and delete some.

thank you very much! I appreciate the nice comments. I wish I had unlimited funds so I could build a whole bunch of stuff. I'm kinda limited so I have to build slowly as the money comes in. That's the only thing that sucks about college. It's ok...as long as I get to do what I love.

thanks pete! Hey do you have new frags? going up to SA this weekend and i'm looking to pick up a couple of frags? Thanks.
Hey rob,
I'll try to go over tomorrow in the evening to take a look at it if that's ok so that I can see exactly what your wanting. If you are wanting a curved half circle front i wont be able to do it because you need an oven to heat the entire front face for molding. We can see what we can come up with. I get off of work at about 6 tomorrow. I'll give you call, maybe I can stop by right after work.
