I went into Alamo for the first time in quite a while.

EVERYONE wasa very nice and helpful! I was very impressed!

Me too. I had not been there in a while, it was looking bad. I picked up a nice true perc. The store is looking alot better.

Jason Taylor...he is doing a very good job. He is the one who coordinated that 540g Oceanic at Capparellies, and he still maintains it also I believe.

I think they've got the best fish setup of all the local LFS stores.

I also agree that the store is looking much better and I still stop in at least once a week even if its just to look. They have for months given me a Maast discount also. I wish they would get some more in the coral department!!

I go there almost as often as Fin-Addicts ;)

Seriously, they are very close to the house, so they see me alot. There have been recent improvements, great fish selections, and the coral dept. is much better. They usually even have a decent selection of clams!

... and ALWAYS offer a MAAST discount, without being asked :D

My wife and I just got back into saltwater after being out for 25 years. Jason over at Alamo has been a great help. Ever question I asked he took time to explain the answer. Being a teacher I know how difficult explaining things can be. Maybe with our sons gone but not forgotten I will have some spare change for fish.

I went to Alamo a couple weeks ago and was impressed with everything except that they had some 48" vho's for like 34 bucks each. That happened to be what i was looking for so i was kind of mad.

Alamo gives a military discount for the mil folks. They've always been good to me.
