Okay, I know it isn't just me but what is the deal with the calendar. There is like nothing on them. Not even the meetings. I would think this would be a perfect place to put when and where the club meets are being held, when the board has their regularly scheduled meetings, special meets like the IMAX trip and so forth.

It sure would be nice if we could have everything listed here in this one place. Then if you click on the event it would take you directly to the thread that all of the information about the event.

Hey Chris, it's not like you don't have anything else to do but spend hours on this fine web site. Do you need any help getting this done or is this another one of those "slacker board member" thingys? :D

I was thinking that was probably the case as Chris is usually really on the ball about things. I just couldn't understand why this was just a black hole?

By the way, when can you come over and get the specs for my next skimmer?

just another idea on the callendar... As I think alot of us use outlook as our mail program maybe a invite link so it would automatically add it to our Outlook calander of when and where. Just a thought

:lol The latest meetings should be listed there now. I'll have to nudge our President/meetings-coordinator to start posting in the calendar again.

Shark_Bait: I don't use Outlook so wouldn't know where to begin with that. :wacko Do you know of any other sites with something similar? Perhaps I can borrow some ideas.

Nevermind, I found some information related to this. It requires developing COM+ add-in's, which I've never done... :P but doesn't look too difficult. Unfortunately it appears to be a Windows only platform ability, and we're hosted on a linux/unix system.

I have finals next week so my time for this will be limited, i'll try to look into this further during the summer and see if I can get something developed. ;)
