I am wating time this morning waiting on a job and was wondering if I could somehow attatch these to my closed loop return manifold? I know they come with different adapters to mount to powerheads and figure it shouldnt be too much trouble to figure a way to mount them to the appropriate sized pvc or modular pipe nozzle? Should give some alternating current from the closed loop and it is defiantly cheaper than some of the other options I am looking at. What ya think?

I don't see why not as long as the final nozzle is the 2 1/4 inch needed. Not a bad idea to make a little current changeup.

Sure, but I would take the 310 gph max literally... I've got a couple and they do mix up the current a bit. But don't SCWD's work pretty well for closed loop designs? I think they're onsale at Drs fostersmith for $31 or something...

oh yeah, the scwd works great in a close loop deal, I have seen it, I got one but is not set up as close loop
