Your files may be to large to post. Try cutting back on resolution or size. They need to be less than 256K.

You can just link them from NR

I tried linking from nano-reef and a bunch of x's came up. All pics have been sized previously. I'm gonna try linking from photo bucket.

Thanks for the offer TurboBrett, you may have a pm if this doesn't work.

Do you still have NO florescent or did you upgrade to T5's?

I think the time for me to just throw in the towel and give up on salt water tanks is coming soon (either that or stop looking at pictures in this website). My tank is just plain horrible.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. You guys have some pretty awesome reefs as well.

Here's my two lords...the pink one is actually florescent pink, the lighting came out really blue for some reason.

One of the more rare items in my tank...Dendrophyllia Coccinea.

These guys are in the same family as sun polyps except they are very rare and VERY large. This single polyp is at least as big as my thumb.

Orange Monti cap, doing well under normal output...

That is gorgeous - GREAT job! I mean, REALLY GREAT !!!!

Pay your MAAST dues & submit for TOTM, it is a shoe in!

Oh yea, what camera are you using? Really clear pics!

I really appreciate your comments Steve. I will be paying maast dues as soon as I sell some stuff from my tank. I'm thrilled at the prospect of totm, but unfortunatly I'm moving and the tank is coming down. Basically right now I'm trying to sell everything but my "cream-of-the-crop" corals, and either upgrade to a 20-24g or start the same ten with slower growing more selective choices in coral.

As for the camera...its a Fuji FinePix 4800zoom, 2.4 mp. I got this around three years ago, and until about seven months ago I was convinced it would never take a good aquarium shot. Thats when I took an interest in learning manual settings, lol. Check this site, probably one of the most informative I've found...

Blueboy: sounds like you have a pretty sweet set-up yourself.

Thanks for the link, I need to study it. I have a FinePix S5000 and my pictures aren't close to the quality of yours!

BTW - the tank doesn't need to be "Existing" to submit as TOTM - you have plenty of pics for a submital, and you could submit again after the new tank is mature :)

More pics :)

New Yuma and Fungia I added. Fungia from Aquatek, Yuma from Aquadome.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/RDTennet/DSCF0439.jpg

Here's a pic of the Dendrophyllia in the daytime. I did not photoshop except the border, my camera takes darker pics when angled from above. I think it looks like a fiery torch.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/RDTennet/DSCF0446.jpg

Here is a montipora cap growth pic over the period of 2-3 months. This is under 90 watts normal output florescent.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/RDTennet/montigrowthpic.jpg

This may possibly be the last Full tank shot. Unfortunatly in the last week I had to frag the red blasto due to die-off. I am also trading a piece. The tank looks really empty without it. Also I gave the brown zoas that were up front to a friend.

Steve, the FinePix series are really nice cameras. The year mine came out it was designed by Porsche! I was about to buy a 1.6 mp sony, then I saw this for a fragment more at circuit city with higher MP, video/sound capability, and tons of manual features. At this stage I feel I would like a little more freedom as far as manual goes, but Fuji makes a great camera.

What megapixel is you camera rated?

WOw, I guess this is enough to motivate me into setting up a 10g nano again. Just beautiful.

What megapixel is you camera rated?

Mine is the S5000, 10x Optical zoom and 3.1 Megapixels

Just bought a tripod, and ordered the 1.5x Fuji macro lens ... now I'm gonna go read that link :)
