SEIO 1500

I just got a RIO SEIO 1500 and set it up in my 58g and..... DAYUM THATS ALOTTA FLOW!!! I have about 2400gph in my tank. I think im going to have to take rearrange it big time. there's not any dead spots! These pumps are great!

I would have to agree. I have a SEIO 620 and it works great. Nice gentle flow.

So two of these would be too much in a 70 tall (tall 58g)? My sump return would only be 300gph or so.

If you are going for a SPS tank, I would say n, its not too much flow. If you want a softie tank, iit is too much flow.

As soon as I turned it on, all of my ricordea on the opposite side of the tank started to float away, it knocked mounted acro frags off of the rocks too.

I am looking into getting one of those. My 620 does a wonderful job but I want to go more flow. I bet they are not that much different from Tunze.

I got a 1500 as well, but haven't set it up yet. I will need to move all the zoos to the bottom of my tank first :D I don't want to have to dig them out from behind the rock in my 30" tall tank. LOL.......

I am going to put a seio 1100 on a 45 breeder should give me good flow. Along with a sump return of about 300gph. 30X turnover sounds about right to me at least may have to add more will find out soon enough.

OK, i set it up. EASY!!! wow, and yes the flow is there.... Stirred up all the setiment on the rocks but, WOW!! i love it already.. :D
