My tank will be for the most part a FOWLR with the exception of some zoanthids, mushrooms, and star polyps. I would like to have an Angel in the tank aswell and I've narrowed down my selection to the one of following three.

Queen Angel
Imperator Angel
Majestic Angel

And wanted to see which one would be less likely to pick at the above mentioned corals and which one would be easier to keep and pro's & con's of each one.

I think the queen is the one of the best looking fish in the ocean and the majestic is not far behind but as for which one would be less likely to eat the mentioned corals probably the Imperator. I know Blake has a imperator in his reef with no issues ( also a very nice fish ) . I have been researching this same question on other boards and doing some reading and I will try a majestic in the future. There has been success with the majestic in reefs but also some failures as well. I will get a young one ( not a juvenile ) and keep him in a qt / fuge for a few MONTHS and without any corals so I can get him on the foods that I want him to eat.

IMO the queen is the least likely to be reef safe.

so long story short...go with the Majestic!!

My Imp has done fine with all the above mentioned corals except zoo's. My Queeen has never done well with any corals! Interesting note though my Queen keeps hair algae to minimum she keeps the rocks clean and when I scape the glass, she eats that too. Ya never know unless you try, good luck!

I had Kaiser's queen angel and she was beautiful, but boy was she mean and stubborn. I guess I'm going to try either an Imperator or a Majestic.

I love my imperator. Very cool fish, never messes with any other fish, coral or inverts. Rules the tank. They need lots of vitamin C, so feed 'em plenty of nori and they will do very well. Get a fully colored up adult, more expensive, but worth it. I saw one somewhere recently, I will have to try to remember where I saw him.
