Has anyone had a problem with this pump cavitating using a single 2 inch bulkhead for the inlet. This will be a closed loop system and I just want to get good info before getting it going.

Tim has that setup and I am fixing to do mine like his. I have seen his up close and it makes no noise whatsoever. I should have mine done by this weekend. After I get it going, you are more than welcome to come and "check it out" if you would like.

I'd love to but that's a heck of a drive. What is the basic setup.
I was thinking going in with a single 2 inch bulkhead then out to four or three outlets. Two 3/4 inch sea swirls and the other one or two will be straight 3/4 inch outlet since the sea swirls won't handle that much flow. There will probably be roughly 5 foot head so I'm guessing outlet should be in the 1800 range.

Too hard to describe. Will take pictures after I glue it up and post them.

That should work fine. You can also use SQWD's if you want to save some $.

I already have the sea swirls sitting in a box waiting. I picked them up from Matt when he moved last year.

FYI- You are going loose alot of flow cutting the 1" outlet from the pump down to 3 3/4" outlets to the tank. It would be est to run 1" spaflex as far as you can and reduce it right before your returns (sea swirls).

Thanks for the info. I will do that also then since I was planning on using the spaflex for the plumbing.

I have a Dart on a closed loop with two 1 1/2 bulkheads T'ed into a 2" pipe to the input. This pump is awesome. I have a whirlpool in my 92 corner.
