I just got a brand new PH Controller and Guages, Solenoid, and Bubble Counter all from Milwaukee. The PH Controller was DOA. I have a problem with having to send things back simply because it doesn't work. I have to know why it doesnt work and if it can be fixed. I was quick to take it apart and investigate. I busted out my multi-meter and went to work. The power supply was producing 12V DC but when it got to the board the voltage was reversed. :wacko Apparantly their QA sucks because there was no way this thing ever worked with reversed voltaged. I broke out the soldering iron and switched the wires around on the plug and viola, it worked. I was actually shocked that something didn't get fried in it due to the reversed voltage. Then there was another problem, the plug for the power supply was so loose that it kept losing power so I had to bend the tabs to make better contact. Everything seems to work fine on it now. I tested it and the readings were correct. It has a warranty so I'll keep it, but needless to say I'm not very impressed with Milwaukee at this point.
