After 3 weeks on the MIA list my wifes purple fire fish came out at feeding time last night!!!

The tanks move was 3½ weeks ago and I havent seen "hide nor hair" (this must be Texas). He looks good and was eating what he could get down in his little hole. I'm thinking to survive this long he must be feeding behind the rocks

He also probably got settled into his new surroundings and feels confident enough to come out for you to see.

remember they are gobies, so they burrow and might stay in their burrows for a while.

Yeah, he did the same thing for a few days in the 46 bow front... I'm just happy to see him :)

LOL - Happened to my Purple Firefish when I did my changeover....he came out yesterday after 2 weeks. Looks good too. And it was nice seeing him again back out in front-pretty fish.

i had one too. took him a good 3 days to finally come out. he is beautiful tho!

more than 3 weeks, I figured he was a goner!!! How long can they go without food???

Mine was apparently eating in the back of the tank - yours prob did also.

Same thing happen to me. Sure makes you happy when you see it again.
