Ballast/Light ?

I have this ballast (pic below). What brand of MH light is best? I am wanting a 14k. 20k is too blue for me and 10K too yellow. I have read on here that the ballast can determine the color of the light. I will be ordering from Custom Aquatics.

No single light is going to give you everything you are looking for. That's why most of us use a combination of while lights and actinics. I have used everything from a 6.5 to a 14K bulb. The XM 10K seems to have given me the widest spectrum of any bulb I have seen. Look for the spectrum charts for different bulbs to get an idea of what you are looking for.

I have been having some problems with my VHO actinic endcaps and have them off this week. I was amazed at how well little I noticed a difference without the actinics and the XM's only.
