Anyone ever?

I just dumped 3 gallons of RO to replace 3 gallons of SW. I forgot to salt it last night. I added the salt that 3 gallons needed straight to the tank. Do yall think this will effect anything? Its a 55g tank. I realise mid-pour and immediatly put the jug down and added the salt.

should be alright. I would have mixed it first and added another 3 gallons at double salinity but you should be fine.

I would have done that, but I only needed about 3 1/2 gallons. It was too late for that. I guess I can add this to my bone head mistake list. Atleast I caught it quick.

If need to, I just dump it in the sump. At the pump intake.

It will be fine.
