HI,I just got a Prizm Skimmer and i was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust it.Its working but i have alot of bubbles.

They are VERY tricky skimmers. You will notice that when you have water evaporation it will all go weird on ya. I would sell it and buy an AquaMedic..lol..JK..be careful though, because it might seem like you adjusted it, and it will overflow badly..good luck.

I won't joke. I have had one of these skimmers for almost a year, I 'run' it on a 10 gallon tank with live rock, cheato, and lots of little inverts for no other reason than to circulate water... this works about 10% of the time... I hate it, I have to tinker with it all the time to keep it from either overflowing the collection cup, or stopping all together, as reef69 stated, evaporation is a huge issue with this skimmer and it's built in overflow cup as well. Thank Goodness it was free from a friend.

If you want a hang on skimmer, take the prizm back to the store and buy yourself a Remora or Remora Pro, they are far and away the best Hand on Tank skimmers on the market, with the possible exception of some of the super expensive ones like deltec and so on... I love my remora pro, I never have problems with it, it skims consistently, and most importantly I never ever have to adjust anything. (except maybe the collection cup, and that is a preference thing (think or wet skimate.)

yeah, Prizims are "expensive" and really bad. Remoras are by far the best hang on's out there..I would choose a seaclone over a prizm any day, but then again, the seaclone is REALLY bad aswell..
