my bta has wandered over and planted himself right next to my zoo's he's so close that i think he's actualy stinging them because they havent opened completly since he's been there. any advise on how to encourage him to move without hurting the bta or the zoo's?

You're better off trying to move the zoos. Anemones have a tendency to wander until they find a place they like. Even after they do find a place they like, they will move occasionally.

Or you could point a power head at the bta if the zoo's cant be moved. This will make it uncomfortable and it will want to move again ...

If both are all on one rock or such, you might just rotate it and the BTA could decide it's not such a great place. Or just point the powerhead a little differently.

Or just watch nature take it's course.

In my opinion it's like it would harm them. My experience are that my BTAs are the only thing that can keep star polyps at bay. Have not my BTAs close to zoos, but the star polyps will win the battle against zoos.

I'd be bothered enough personally to attempt to convince the BTA to move. My point was that I feel it doesn't take much for them to move again, so a slight change rather than drastic would likely do the trick.

I try not to disturb them at all for fear they'll start wandering. Currently both have deep hole to recede into if disturbed. Not in the best place for viewing, but their placement isn't for me to decide.
