I had heard mention of River City and Carlos and I finally made it in last Friday and again yesterday.
Finally found a decent looking bubble coral. Carlos apologized for having a low stock. Seemed to me the best prices around Austin and on top of that gave a very good MAAST discount (even though I don't have my card yet). That's a big sponsorship as far as I'm concerned and membership pays for itself.
It's out of my way, but Carlos was friendly and knowledgable and I had to keep myself from buying more than I did yesterday.
He seemed genuinely interested in promoting education and support for the club.
