Glueing spa flex to PVC?

I had to plumb my pump through a wall to the garage and wanted to even more lesten any vibration/noise given off by the pump, so i went with spa flex tubing from the pump the the PVC. The PVC and tubing weren't a tight fit so i used some clamps. It didn't work. So my question is, can i glue the two together with the PVC solvents?

Jerry, I haven't used the Spaflex, but I seem to remember other posts indicating normal PVC solvent worked ok. If they don't answer, try PM'ing AlexWolf or Scuba_Stevo, I think they both used SpaFlex on their systems.

Yes you can glue it just as if it is a piece of pvc. I just prime and glue with standard pvc primer & solvent. Works well.

That's always a happy moment. I hate that moment just before you first turn the pump on thinking "Man, I hope I didn't screw up".

LOL, I know what you mean... Since i put the pump in the garage, when i turn it on, i had to run in the house to make sure everything was cool... yes, it is a happy moment :)
