I already have it and if I can't sell it I guess I will try it. Just wondering if anybody has one so I can see some pics.

It's not the tank that makes a good reef, it's the person setting it up! :)

Really any tank can be a good reef tank, it's all in what you want to keep as far as livestock goes and then choosing appropriate equipment to support it.

I am hoping that it will make a good reef :roll The tank you have is the same size tank as the one i am now setting up. I would have to go with Joshua on this. The lighting has to be able to penetrate the depth. I am going with 400W MH. It is still in the process of setup so i can't post any good pics yet. Plus, a sand storm has recently prolonged the process. :(

yeah, 400 watt MH's would do a really good job on a tall tank, i dont think light penetration would be a problem with 400's...

400 watt MH are recommended for a tank that is greater than 24" tall.

I had a tall tank (48 not 150), and I don't think I would do it again. Light penetration is a problem - but mine was FOWLR so wasn't a big deal. The other problem is getting good circulation throughout the tank, and maintenance cuz you need some long arms to reach the bottom! The other thing I didn't like was the lack or horizontal dimension - it is hard to spread out aquascaping or livestock in a vertical direction. But still, they do look nice!

I had a 140 tall, ran 400 MH, light wasnt a problem, my problem was circulation in that I had to have about 8 power heads and still didnt get good circulation to the bottom and had a mag 18 for a return
