I have been looking for some rock but have never cured rock. I have looked briefly on how to cure rock. It appears just put rock with tub with water from tank, do regular water changes, put in power head and heater. It appears everyone recommends a skimmer which I don't have one to put in. About how long does this process take and I missing any steps? I am intereseted in getting some depending on the logistics.

Are you sure it's 50lb. boxes? All the live rock I've seen usually comes in 44/45lb. boxes and that weight includes the box/shipping materials. Not that 44lbs. for $150 is a bad deal, but it does make alittle difference.
