Umm, don't think so on price. My sequence 750 cost me 149 dollars with free shipping and this web site has it for 228.49 dollars.

Josh - who says they don't come with saltwater seals?

I know some of the pond specialty stores don't normally carry pumps for saltwater, but all of the other places should have them. I got my Sting-Ray from CustomAquatics back when they had them all on sale when they first came out.

The Dart, Stingray and Hammerheads (any Reefflo series)all come stock with saltwater seals. It is the 750 and 1000 series pumps that do not.

it was SO loud.....plus 2 MH bulbs came in broken. As a matter of fact, Greg at 360 took care of the halide return for them!!!! The second sequence pump is loud too, once i have a chance im getting rid of it. i think its the particular model.

I have the sequence Barracuda on my 240g and it is very quiet.

I have heard they are all quiet. Big pumps usually make noise no matter what you do to them. I has been good to hear most customers are very happy.

Why is it that the dart has a 2" inlet and the other higher rated pumps have 1.5". That seems odd to me. By the way if I'm running to 1 inch bulkheads drains into the inlet would that be enough feed for this monster. I will be running two 3/4 inch outlets with quite a bit of head back pressure probably making the output around 1600 gph out if that makes any diff.

Probably because it is a low pressure pump and they just want to be sure it is not getting a resriction from your intake sponge so they over plumb it. If the sponge is restricting flow or you reduce it the pump won't get as good an energy consumption.

I'm thinking I may run the pump with 4 lines out. Two going each to a 3/4 inch seaswirl then two more maybe running outlets back behind my rock work shooting somewhat outward from behind, just enough to keep things mixed up back there. All of the outlets will be on ball valves so I can adjust each as necessary.

Oh and this would be a closed loop system fed from two 1 inch bulkheads.

There is a Reeflo Barracuda on the new coral tank at CB Pets (currently full of lots and lots of live rock.) I can barely here it even when I open the tank. I like. :)
