What the devil....?

What is this "worm"? It looks like of like an inch worm, but it looks like it belongs to a bigger animal and this is it's tonge. I only comes out at night, i got this pic as i turned on the lights. The quality is bad because I haven't got the hang of closeups yet, but it is dead center and to the right of that snail.

Funny, I spotted it before I even got the pic scrolled down. Sort of like one of those eye tests where some people can see things and others can't.

ha ha...sorry for the bad pic....again. aren't those little guys supposed to hang out in the sand?

They're detritivores. Obviously he founds something to eat up there, or was just exploring.

I had tons of them that lived in the rock if that is what it is. They would come out of there little holes when it was feeding time. Almost like I was feeding them also.

It reminded me the of game "Resident Evil". It looks like the tounge of the Lickers...I think thats what they are called. Those creatures that walk on all fours/they came out in the second movie also.
