What happened to the pop-up window PM alert? I get routed to the home page but cant access pm's from there, very annoying, and yes, I do have the pop up feature enabled in my profile. And how do I change the time in the latest posts column from military to civilian? For me, the whole site seems a bit slower than Im used to.

I haven't had any problems with the PM messages. I've never accessed them from the home page in the past though, always done it from the forum pages.

Normally when I refreshed the site, if I had a pm, there would be a message with a link that would take me directly to the pm inbox.

Yeah, kinda sorta. You could either click on "here" or close the window. Can someone address this and the other issues please? Admin? anyone? Site is painfully slower since the "maintenance". At least for lowly webtv.

Hey Jim,
There is an error with pop-up's that affects Firefox and apparently WebTV that i'm aware of. I've yet to have the opportunity to find a fix for this, but in the mean time if you disable the pop-up feature you shouldn't have any problems.
As for the slowness of the site, thus far i haven't noticed much difference. My ping times to the site are as good as ever. I've taken your complaint into consideration and will try to find out if there are any parts of the site I can optimize to load quicker.

Thanks Chris, disabling the pop-up feature helped some, what about the military time signature in the new post column? No biggie, just not used to it....
Thanks again.

For the time being Jim, I can either leave it at military time or remove it entirely. That particular section of the site was coded as it is for some reason. Seeing how the actual server time, and our forums time are seperate, I am unable to change things without spending a few hours changing the code. It's something I want to do, but won't be able to get to until a few more pressing changes are installed. :)

Thats cool, perfectly understandable, I thought I might be able to change it on my end..
