Any guesses on what this is? It popped up on a dead clam shell. I don't have anything like it in the tank.

well, the pics a little fuzzy and I for sure an no expert, but the coloration and rudimentary forms starting look kinda like hydranaphora... now watch, a buch of more knowledgeable guys and gals are going to prove me wrong! :)

It could be hydnophora. Do the polyps extend really far?

They stick out like an avg Acro. It's fuzzy because of the angle. I'll try to move it and get a better pic
