I was messing around in the front of my tank which forced them to hide in the same hole...pretty neat. The pic is a little deceiving the radiata is about an inch longer than the dwarf.

absolutely beautiful mydas! i used to have a pair of zebras, they are so incredibly gorgeous. the greens and reds in their fins is breathtaking when they are just chilling on the rock waving them with the movement of the water. very mezmorizing.

what size tank do you have them in, have they fought at all being different species?

Feed?...you mean they eat?!! JK. I feed them live ghost shrimp (gut packed of course). They are in my 37g with an ornate leopard and a Christmas wrasse (and a damsel). They do fine in a reef, minus the fact that when they perch they tend to knock stuff over, and you can't have any shrimps.

You should be able to mix dwarf's and 'big ones.' Only alike species fight esp. dwarfs.

interesting, my zebras never fought with one another. i was planning on having 2 fu manchu lions in my upcoming 30H, i wonder if they will have a problem with one another. anyone have experience with fu manchus?

Only bad for me. I had one and could never get it to eat which is not uncommon; they are a hard lion to keep. From all the research I've done dwarfs tend to be fairly belligerant towards each other. But you could always try it, I wouldn't want to break up that fight though  I would try it but just in case find someone who would be willing to take one if it doesn't work out. Let me know how it goes!!!

BTW, they haven't documented it in all the species but they know that radiatas and volitans will hunt in packs in a large enough tank. Pretty cool.

I am hoping that in the next couple years I will be able to setup a 115 with a radiata, antennata, and a fu man chu... conversely, my wife wants me to make it a puffer tank... so... no telling what will happen.

Awesome. When I upgrade I want to add an antennata to my collection too.
