does anyone know what this algae is that my clove polyps are growing out of?

Click on your name in this post. Go to user attachment control panel. Delete any old attachments you may have. This seems to "reset" the count. HTH

Itsam, can you describe the structure of the algae? it doesn't really show up in the pic, is it attatched to the rock like velonia? or is it on stems?

i'm not sure what velonia is, but it's attatched to the rock, kind of like it's incrusting, but in a pretty thick matt
