I just got done acclimating and introducing my newest family member, a gorgeous purple tang I got from CB Pets. he has been out of the bag for 10 minutes and has allready reduced a tuft of hair algae to near nothingness... now that I have my phosphates under control (haven't had new algal growth in weeks) I can finally kiss the old stuff goodbye (or at least most of it.)
man, gorgeous, and has utility...

That's why I laugh when someone asks what to do about hair algae and a bunch of answers come back as "Buy a tang."
