WOW you should see the foam this skimmer puts out!!!! I will get some pics of the foam later!!!!! You can also see the waste container on the floor. No more stink or spills!!!

I should also mention that it is an 8" tube, so it is HUGE.

MMMAAAAANNN I have had that since I moved in the house!!!!! That was my first disaster ever. Oh well, its vinyl in a room that harldy anyone sees :roll:

anyone want to tell the new guy what kind of skimmer that is and how much one like that costs..and how big is your tank that you need one that big for????....thz...

i built it!!! According to My Reef Creations, that will handle 900 gallons well stocked. Something like that will cost around $450 without the big union. I have it on roughly 400 gallons.

Alex has a 240g reef, with a 100g refugium and a 100g sump. He made the skimmer himself, and if you PM him he'd probably make you one. I'm not sure how much they cost to make though. He's making our calcium reactor right now too :grin:
I'm sure he will filll you in more when he gets back on line!

that is one of the baddest thing i have seen....WOW....i am lost for words...i am new,,, i got a 55gal salt tank from a friend a bit ago and the only thing in it was a very big bubble coral...now me and the wife want a 75 gal show tank....everyone tell me to get the best skimmer we can find...and one that is way bigger then we need...and because the wife is on board this is somthing that is going to happen..but we still have a lot to learn....how much did it cost you to make your skimmer???and would you be williing to make one for someone that is willing to pay upfront??...if you dont do stuff like that its okay...i just had to ask cuz i was so empressed with yours....thz...

yes, I would build you one. YOu dont need one near that big though. A smaller one will cost less of course. I also build carbon filters, calcium reactors, and soon kalk reactors! If you want to see my tank, go to this thread here

WOW...that is looking very nice...how much do you charge for one??? i want a 75gal tank and a 55 gal sump wet/dry with fuge so i need a skimmer that will do 130gal or 260gal...cuz everyone say to get one that is twice what you need....and what pumps do you use???do i need to buy one or will you pick one and add it to the price....???...thz......

see the huge 4" grey union about halfway up the pipe? that is a rather expensive option.
