Check out my new skimmer, just finished it today!!! just need to flush trim the bottom of the collection cup and adjust the height of the becketts.

What I can't figure out is why your skimmers are always in the Kitchen ;)

Looks nice, but maybe kinda small for your ~400g system? Then again, I am a fan of BIG skimmers :grin:

according to MRC it will handle a stocked 900 gal system......its an 8" tube

what kind of pumps are you going to use, and are you going to manufacture these or are you keeping them for yourself?

i will build some for others as well. They wont be as clean as Matts though, but cheaper. Im going to run this one off an Iwaki 70RLT.

i think the glue needs 72 hours to fully cure. I should have it up by wed at the latest!!!!!

k im new at this..but can you give me the lowdown on the air injector type skimmer....i have a red sea skimmer that pumps air in befor the pump...and it suck.....i also have a skimmer in my sump that is about 2 feet tall by 5 inches and uses a pump that gose into a tube that has a hole with a hose on top..that one make some blackish junk but not much... i want a better skimmer but i dont know what im getting in to...any help would be great....thz...
