After doing a water change this evening, I noticed the water output from my large Derasa clam has been very cloudy. If it had just been once, I wouldn't have thought much about it, but the clam has been doing it for awhile now. Anyone know if this means it is spawning or is it something else? I have 5 clams and this is the first time I have really noticed anything like this.

Does he look like he is "coughing" or trying to clear his gills? It could be either clearing out debris from the water change (you know how much stuff you stirred up during the cleaning) or he could be spawning. Mine spawn frequently, good coral food, as long as it is not more than the tank can handle.

No, not the normal quick blows to move around or clear its gills, just regular smooth siphoning with the output being cloudy/smokey looking. It seems to have stopped now.
