No I put two frags in the shopping cart and went to check out and it said $60, so I am guessing if I had purchased myself it would have been a total of $60...? Just guessing though. We are doing a decent order so he may, just let me know thanks. If not I'll figure another way to get it from SA.

JimD - those are all wild frags from one of Walt Smith's managed Pacific collection areas. In one Figi reef area alone there is over 250 square miles of reef he manages with from 12 to 18 diver/collectors.

Thanks Larry,,, So lemmee get this straight, the frags are collected from wild, naturaly found colonies, the colony remains in the sea, frags are collected then mounted to a plug and shipped to the retailer? Or are they maricultured, meaning the frags are collected, mounted and allowed to grow-out in the ocean before offering them to the retailer? Or does the retailer receive a wild colony, frag it, then offer it to the general consumer? Some of the frags on that site look freshly mounted. If they are in fact wild, theyre probably gonna be brown apon arrival and will most likely take some time to look anything close to the pic, which in my opinion, looks very saturated. Ive ordered some rarer pieces from RM and its been my experience that its hit or miss. Id be interested in pics when ya'll get these things in.

You usually have to move pretty quick on these type of frags. Usually when someone does a group order they are gone before anyone can get the order organized. Its pretty much like herding wild goats.

JimD - Those are normally fragged wild colonies. Sometimes the whole thing comes in and has to be fragged, other times it breaks when collected or shipped. Some things are mounted and grown in the ocean. The colors are sweet and usually look like the pictures. Occassionally they lighten or bleach during shipping as the temp drops at 40,000 feet, but, they normally color back up beautifully. I've gotten a lot from Chris and Christine.. Very nice to deal with - great service. And their stuff lives and grows. Walt manages the Islands and collections so he doesn't wipe it out and it provides a significant living income to families there that would otherwise be in deep trouble. Chris and Christine at Reefermadness get the cream of the crop so to speak. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them for a second.

If Im not mistaken, they will credit you full price on your next order minus shipping. They need to be notified within a predetermaned ammount of time though.

That's a pretty cool policy actually! I've noticed some sites want you to not only send the coral back, but also send a sample of your tank water before they will give credit. Probably to discourage returns ;)
