This was my first shot at a calcium reactor. I was opposed to paying 550 just for the reactor not including the reg. and tank. It was my first time working with acrylic and a router but overall I am pleased so far with the outcome. Once I have it fully complete and up and running for testing, if it works I think i'm going to make some and sell them locally for 350-400 including everything. There is only one saltwater shop that sells them for 550 not including the spray bar option. So I shouldnt have a problem. Let me know what you guys think. It's 12" tall and 6" in diameter. Its run by a Panworld 40/Blueline 20. All plumbing is 1/2 PVC 80/40. The most expensive part besides the pump was the needle valve which cost me 20 bucks.

It's still not done yet though...got a couple more things to put together.

looks good! Only thing I see is the way you tapped into the chamber might be prone to leakage. I go up through the bottom of mine, makes life a lot easier. You do have a media support tray right?

if you make a platform of sorts for the tube to sit on, then drill into the platform instead of the tube, it will be more stable.

oh ok...i i know what your talking about. Like the way you did yours? Do you have the spray bar from the bottom of the tube inside the inner tube that holds the media support tray? If I do mine from the side I guess I'm gonna have to have an elbow
