wussy mantis?

i got a peacock mantis from AT a couple of weeks ago. it looks great, but i never see it. do these guys usually take awhile to settle in? i had gotten the impression that they were engaging and entertaining creatures. does she just need more time :roll:

They tend to burrow under the rocks. Usually they come out to investigate but are still solitary creatures. I have seen them in established tanks and usually they come out to look whats going on, flare out if threatened, then return to their tunnel. Try feeding her with plant tongs, that is always engaging. They rush the shrimp and beat the tweezers furiously until the food is free.
