I'm wanting to order some stuff for the new tank from Sam...

Me too! Although, he had mentioned if he can find some, he is allowed to collect 10 lbs. a day....heheh...that's a lot of macro! I'd like at least a pound of it ;)

:) Coolbeans... I don't mind waiting a few days either...

I just want some new stuff for the new tank I'm in the process of setting up (snails, crabs, mangroves, etc) that Sam has and would much rather purchase from him anyway! :) We got to help out our fellow MAASTites. ;)

I am waiting to see if he can get the tang heaven...I would *like* at least a pound of it, but since I'm on a budget, I'll need to see what the bottom line will be first. Has anyone heard whether or not he's going to be able to get this macro, and what the pricing will be with shipping?

I would like....

20 Nerite snails
20 Pacific Turbos snails
50 Micro Lefthand hermits
2 Cowries
3 Mangroves

If he can find some Pacific Nassarius I wouldnt mind some of those too. And if someone is willing I wouldnt mind buying a small hand full of TH from them.

Not exactly sure if this stuff is the same algea trademarked as Tang Heaven.
If i remember correctly, the tang heaven was long and sort of stringy.

I havn't been able to find that particular algae yet ....

I have found the following :
Red "Dictyota"

According to Julian Sprung in "Algae : A Problem Solvers Guide" :
Ornamental. Palatable to many herbivorous fishes. This algea blooms in aquariums under good water quality conditions, and it seems to have a positive effect on water quality, though it may shade corals.

hey sam, not like we haven't given you enough to go out and schlep for us, but if you run across Strombus maculatus (sold at IPSF as strombus grazers) you would have some interested parties (herbivore/detrivour)

still looking in the water and for cultered sources ....

Had to go to Honolulu (other side the Island) to get it
Aquacultured. So good, the fish have to fight the locals for it ...

compare that to IPSF's $10 per 1/4pound ;-)

Denise- just LMK if I pay you or Sam directly. I'm sure this will be a big order, as there seems to be a bunch of people that are interested. For those of you that are unsure, and have never offered this macro to your tangs - they will LOVE you for it - trust me on this!!!! ;)

That I couldn't tell you. I would imagine any fish that is interested in veggies would eat it though. If you are unsure at the moment, and would just like a little clump to try it out before you buy a bunch, I'll hook you up with some to try it out once the order comes in. You don't have any tangs?

and be sure to specify if its for Austin or San Antonio

once all orders have been taken, shipping cost will be split up and payment can be made via PayPal.

As far as the ZenReef orders go, if you posted here, and nothing has changed (items, qty, etc), no need to repost on your respective new thread. But, if you have yet to post what you want, other than the TH of course, please do so on the new threads!

I went through each of the threads and consolidated everyones orders into either an 'austin' or a 'san antonio' thread. only person I wasn't sure of on location was OceanCube (update your location in yor profile bud! :) ) I put him in with San Antonio for now (can edit and move as neccessary of course)

Just trying to keep things clear so Sam's head doesn't explode.

no problem, I finiished all my work around 2AM, scoured MAAST, Scoured ReefCentral.. got real bored... created the topics, went over to scifi and read WAAAAYYYY to much about the new Battlestar Galactica Series (man they aregue about everything, so glad we have a 'happy' forum.) then came back over, and compiled everything... it was the hilight of my night. :)

Heheh...oopsie! For some reason, I thought you had a bigger tank. Ah well, if you still want a little clump to put in your nano when it comes in, I'll be happy to let you try it out. LMK ;)
