I'm wondering if that's Ray's shop (Triggerman). He's talked about opening one. He told me he had found a location but didn't have a firm plan on when he was going to open.

There is one on S Flores that opened mid/late November 2004 but is mostly fresh water. They had just a few SW fish and no corals last time I was there.

That would be Papa Jim's. They opened under new management. The manager/owner is Letty. She bought it from Papa Jim that still has the botanica next door.

Heard the same from a employee at Alamo Aqua. No name or location but whoever is opening it is supposed to be pretty well connected to distributors.
Least that's what I was told.

Jenn, no way! They're already close enough, it's like driving to the other side of the world from NW SA. How about a 2nd location on 1604 between Bandera and Culebra? Then I could walk up there. :-D

Josh, have you got a bike? If my sources are correct you will be able to pedal ;)

Ok, now your peaked my interest! Is the future owner lurking out there that would like to share some detals?

I personally think a LFS on the NW side would be great!!!!!!

Ok, ok. I get the point. Much more of you guys over there.
I wish there was someone else that I knew was into reefing in NB.

Heheh...yeah, but how about driving there from NB or Austin? We've got a decent amount of LSs that sell fish, but what about the neat corals and zoas? I haven't found a *single* store here in Austin that sells lots of colorful zoas...only the drab browns and yellows. RCA is starting to carry some good stuff (thanks to TimM) but that's about it. Aquatec has some interesting SPSs now and again, but they are proud of their stuff. MAN...an Austin FinAddict - how cool would that be? :skeezy:

Josh - you should have built your house over here! You'd be closer to Fin Addict and easier for me to come steal some zoo frags from you! LOL

I'm just glad to have a quality LFS over here on my side of town, I was getting tired of dealing with all that traffic on 410 and Bandera Rd. every time I needed something! Hopefully Fin Addict will stay there for a long, long time, maybe move to a larger location, but still stay on the northeast side! :-P
