you guys see a problem with me putting a SCWD on my IWAKI MD-70RLT (1600 GPH) if I T off, one side is just a plain flow through return, other side is a SCWD In essence, a T with a T on it) the SCWD is rated for 1400 GPH, I figure without any ball valves in the mix, if I 'T' off the return, I am splitting flow equally correct? 800 GPH through both legs of the T?

I would rather not hook it up and ruin it. :)

If one leg after the T is open and the other has the SCWD, then I think back pressure from the SCWD will cause most of your flow to go to open leg. You would probably need a valve on the open leg to regulate the flow. I have two SCWDs coming off a T and really like the radom currents this creates. I don't have experience with IWAKIs. I was disappoint with the reduced flow by the SCWD until I replaced the 1/2" lines coming off the SCWD with 3/4" (or 1" I can't remember) which really helped.
