Oh, Boy! GuesswhatGuesswhatGuesswhat?!!!
Done guessing?
I just went out today to buy the various supplies I'd need to hook up my scwd, and when I was done, I figured I'd stop by Awana Pets, off of Marbach. I wasn't really planning on getting anything, but you never know! Anyway, I went to the Saltwater section of their display tanks and immediately noticed a smallish, red anemone. I thought, "That can't be a rose, can it?" I looked closer; it definately was. I called the clerk over and asked him about it. He looked at it and immediately remarked that it looked like it "wasn't doing to well"(it was in the stage that anemone's get to every few days when they're expelling wastes). I nodded sympathetically. He left and went to go help someone else. I went after him and asked him how much? He said, "Oh, that one's $10!!!!!!! But he's not doing too well." I said, "well, since he's not doing to well, how about you make me a deal?" He said, "Okay, how about $5?" (I could scarcely keep myself from cackling like a crazy person) I agreed, and, believe it or not, kept a straight face all the way out of the store. So, my story shows that it's not always a bad thing when clerks don't know what they're doing! To top it all off, the rose is happy as a clam and all opened up, looking very healthy. Just thought I'd tell you guys about it. [/i]
