The Hammerhead Rare Earth Algae Scraper.

it's so powerful, that after sticking the two halves together (not advised) I couldn't pull them apart easily, really had a struggle (and I am 6'5") my wife couldn't get them apart at all.
A quick test and it powered through some coraline, though left a little ring where the coraline had been.. That won't be an issue of course if I keep up with it. I was tremendously impressed.

My wife got it for me, but of course, I provided the link.
There are two companies that make magnet scrapers like this, one is Magnavore, the other is Algae Free. this is an Algae Free product, I chose them, becuase the inside piece floats, just like a magfloat... they are heavy and on the off chance it actually fell off (not likely at all) It would be the death of whatever it landed on. :)

Hhhhmmmm, I guess Seaswirl doesn't deliver to the North Pole. OK, I guess I'll just have to break down and buy it myself.

20K. I was hesitant to go with the 20 at first because it's so blue, but side-by-side with the 50/50 PCs on the other end of the tank, I much prefer the 20K. I'm hoping CoralVue is able to solve the problems with their DE 14K, as I think this temp would be ideal for my purposes, but for now the 20K is doing great things.

20K are very pretty. They are great as long as you don't want any coral growth. The higher the K value, the lower the PAR value.
