Membership questions

To whom it may concern,

I realize that the individuals that make this club work are volunteers and I really appreciate all of the hard work by all of the Officers and Board Members. I also realize that this close to the holidays that everyone is extremely busy. But I do have a couple of questions regarding my membership.

I paid my membership dues by check on December 5th (at the December meeting) and my check still has not cleared my bank. Is there any particular reason that my check is being held? Hopefully mine didn't get lost.

Also, I am assuming that once the check does clear, my membership status will go from "Web Member" to "Charter Member"; correct? Will this get done automatically or do I need to follow up with a particular person?

I was told at the meeting that there was a hold up on the membership cards. Something about the colors not being correct on the new cards. Has the printer problem been fixed? If so, when can we expect to get our membership cards?

I would like to know if there is any way to pay my membership online through paypal or something. I pm'd Misti a while ago about it with no response.

Its all about patience ... Im sure everything will be set after the holidays and the member that takes care of updating the site is also in the middle of a move. Hope that helps.

Paypal is currently unavailable, but Im sure you could mail it to Misti.

I understand about the patience part; my only concern was my check still being outstanding after 3 weeks. I would have thought it would have been deposited by now and want to make sure it hadn't gone missing. I told Misti to use my name and address off of the check and if that had been misplaced, then she may not have any way of getting in touch with me. The December meeting was pretty hectic and I just didn't want htis falling through the cracks, so to speak. If she still has my check and just hasn't made it to the bank (being that this is a very busy part of the year) then that is fine, I understand. I just wanted someone to let me know that they still had my check for membership dues and that it just hadn't been deposited yet.

The name on the check is Frederick and Melinda Falk.

If the check has gone missing, please let me know so I can send another one.

Sorry. A few folks asked me to hold checks for certain time frames, which ran me into being out of town. No way to deposit while gone. They will be deposited on Monday. I got both your PM's taken care of today. In a few days PayPal will be available. I will let all know when it is set!

With Finals and then going out of town, I have not had time to get these taken care of. I do apologize.

I will PM the new members to the alt webmaster. Hopefully he can get the status changed.

Well my check has cleared but I still have "Web Member" under my name and no membership card. I am hoping that they will pass out the new cards at the next meeting.

I have asked the webmasters to change them. I will check on the status.
