Well I was just filling up my 2nd jug of RO/DI since I got it. It sure didnt take long to make a mess. I stick the hose into my jug, when I came bag I found the hose had fallen out and my kitchen floor was covered in water. :? I need to get to homedepot and get some fittings to hook this thing up to my shower, that way if it overflows no one cares.

I use 6 gal. water jugs from Wal-Mart. They are in the camping dept.

I also have my RO unit on my back porch so that if the worst happens I just water my yard. I run the waste water line out into my garden. The only down side is that I have to disconnect it and bring it in whenever there is a hard freeze. I don't want to rupture a membrane or crack something if it freezes.

A 100 GPD membrane should make close to 4 gallons per hour. Keep that in mind when you walk off and leave it.....I guess you have just joined the flood club....Anyone that has been doing this for a while has been there.

At least you get to mop the kitchen, that should make the wife a little happy.
