Anybody know anything about this filtration unit from Poly Bio Marine? Austin Aquariums I believe uses this to make its pre-mixed saltwater and I was wondering how it compared to RO. Thanks,

I looked into it a while back, and from what I remember it wasn't as good as RO so that is what I stuck with. I think it left a lot of stuff in the water and I wanted the purest water I could and then add the elements I wanted back in. IE good salt mix and Kalk.

I think it's a floss 5um filter with poly filter hooked up to it. You still have a measurable KH and GH. Its like RO without the RO filter. No waste water though. Its a cousin to a drinking water filter. But twice removed...
