This is for a 36gal corner. Its going to have glass shelves over the tank and shelves along the side of the stand. Its going to be painted white hence the use of regular plywood. Please critique.

Thanks

It looks terrible. I'd be glad to take it off your hands if you want to toss it.

BA - i think that is a lamp socket so there will be a light over the glass shelves he will have above the tank.

Henry - looking good! Neat to see pictures of how it transforms from start to finish.

Great work - you turned a fairly simple looking tank into a centerpiece for your house - outstanding!

So, where is that 55g going? ;)

Thanks guys. This is a unit that is in our bedroom. That 55 is for a 180 in the living room. This is actually going to be a freshwater tank. My g-friend loves the parrots. Here are some finished pics. The glass for the shelves is called flemish glass it has a nice pattern to it. Hope you enjoy and I'm taking orders j/k. Also the choice of the blue background was the wonderful decision of my girlfriend. Isn't it nice.

And we named this piece Penny after our dog.

This project could not have been made possible with out the help and encouragment of my girlfriend and puppy. Under their watchful eye Penny came to be.
