If I remember correctly, there was a great article on just that subject over at Reef Central not to long ago, try a a couple of different searches over there and see what you come up with, I know theres a certain suggested technique, I just dont remember it off hand... hth, good luck!

I have had success weaning them to frozen Krill and eventually even dried krill. To start, starve them for a few days to be sure they are hungry. Thaw some frozen whole krill and soak it in some garlic, Zoe, and/or Zoecon/Selcon. Take a piece of krill by the tail and 'wag' it just under the surface of the water. The idea is to get the lion to come towards the surface and release the krill just before he strikes. If lucky, the lion will take it before realizing that it is not live and you are on the way. If you get the lion swimming to the surface, you can also throw the krill at the water so that it makes a splash and 'dives' into the water. If the lion is close enough, he will turn and strike before he realizes it is not live. If you do not have success the first try, wait a day and try again. Once your lion starts taking frozen food, do not feed him live food except as a once in a while treat. Be sure to soak the krill in Zoe or Zoecon to add nutrients and better balance the diet.

Hope this helps. Good luck with the lion.

I would toss a small portion of a silverside into the path of a powerhead and the movement caused my zebra dwarf lion to go after it. Took roughly a month for me to get him completely on silversides.

how big is your radiata? i'm thinking of getting one for my 75 but i don't want to be too limited as far as other fish in the tank go.
