Mine ended up being blue and there were also green ones on one end so I split them and turned the rock.

i was in the store today and felipe had about 50 clams ranging in price from $20-$90 including ultra maximas, croceas, gigas, hippopus, squamosas, etc. it is probably the best collection of clams i have seen in a lfs. i would be more worried about these than the frags.

I wish I could post pics of the frags I got, unfortunately the cheap camera I have wouldn't do them justice. I got a couple of great frags from the meeting, very excited!

MikeDel, that is called a bubble mushroom. It requires low light and will open to about 4 inches across. It should be a blue/green color. This awesome shroom was collected from Carlos' tank locally and we are going to start propagating them. When fully opened it looks like a giant ricordia.

How long do you think it will take for them to fully open up? There are 2 on the rock, 1 is about 1.5" across and the other is about 2.5-3" across. Is that how big they were, or are they still not fully open?

I am sooo sad Chris and I couldn't make it to last Sunday's meeting, but it sure is nice seeing what everbody got. We have yet to visit FA, but am looking forward to it...soon hopefully! I'm just wondering if they will ever have any cool zoos left - especially with Joshua right down the street ;)

That is Greenmako's 100g, there are some old pictures in his gallery. Next week we are turning that tank into a SPS tank so all the leathers you see are going into my 37g. I would post a recent picture but we have a nice pile of LR curing in the tank...so all you'd get to see is lots of rock!!!

Heheh...Cool!!! I'll bet they are pretty picked over by the time Saturday rolls around though. We can only make the trip on weekends. :cry:

C.Mydas - I'll have to go check the gallery - just gorgeous! We don't keep many softies in our reef tank (mostly SPS and LPS), but that sure is pretty! I will have to admit to having become a total zoo freak here lately though...arggggg...all the *colors*!! They are starting to multiply like crazy too - I guess they must like what I've been feeding them!

Very nice!!! I was tempted to get a clam when I was there today, they have some REALLY nice ones. But considering I just lost a clam this morning, I didnt want to get another one. Although Felipe did spend some time talking with me about the loss and helping me identify the potential problem.
