Last night after a miserable day I came home to my anemone in the process of splitting. I have had this anemone for over a year now and it was huge. I moved it into my new tank about 2 months ago.

Cool.

Have the clowns decided on one or both?

The male finally has a home of his own., the smaller of the two of course :-D

I thought I saw him watching VH1 Behind the Music and eating cheetos off his chest.

Nice, What kind of anemone is that? How long have you had it in the other tank? They are beautiful.

Thanks, I don't really know what kind of anemones they are. I had this one in my 30 gallon hex for a little over a year and recently moved it to my new 110 and it's been in there for 2 months.

I think it's a LTA of some type. It's tentacles don't look anything like my roaming RBTA and it never roamed.

Howd you get your anemone to split? ive had a green bta for about 9 months and still nothing. he was just recently starting to wonder and not look so good but switched out the bulbs in my tank and looks healthy again. I forgot your supposed to switch those lights out.

Luck and patience? I've just spot fed mine krill once a week.

My RBTA got caught in the overflow grates last week while I was at work. My wife took a razor and cut it in two in order to get it off the grates. Now I have two small RBTAs. This happened the same day I picked up a pair of new gold stripe maroon clowns. They now have an anemone of their own.
