well, today i recieved a call from Sarah from Fin-Addicts,they had a mantis shrimp, so i had to buy it..I really dont know what kind it is..its all green..about an inch long..according to Felipe, it is a peacock..juvenile..well, thats what they told him..its all green, very active guy, i had to take all my gobies and my pistol shrimp out of the eclipse 6 so i could put him in there, i left the bumblebee snails there, i guess they are going to become luch....anyways, i found out this somewhere online..looks pretty cool.. http://www.nightsea.com/mantis.htm#animal

Ill take a couple of them Sherri, hes kinda shy right now, although he was walking around a bit earlier..Ill try to take a few this weekend..

Thnks Don, i checked it out earlier...have you seen the mantis vs crawfish video??..that mantis is huge!

yeah, they found that mantis about 2 years ago..some new species that glows...its a pretty interesting article..

oh, and hey Don, do you dose your mantis tank with anything?..I did some research during the time I was waiting for My mantis..but didnt really find anything..

I dose my main tank with b-ionic, which ends up in my mantis tank through water changes. Works great for me! both tanks are very stable.

thnks,..yeah, I also dose My 90 with b-ionic..my 25 has 2 true percs, 2 clown gobies..and a mandarin...I dont use b-ionic there..Im guesing i should add some to the 6 gal. where the mantis is..

Isn't the mantis shrimp commonly referred to the "Thumbsplitter"? :shock:
